The DSA was established in 1965 and is the only recognised trade body for direct selling companies in the UK and: 
strives to raise the profile of the Direct Selling Industry and to protect the interests of consumers and DSA Members 
works with government to represent the interests of Direct Selling companies in the UK and to promote the earning opportunities of direct selling 
works to influence and educate key opinion formers on the benefits of direct selling
