Northamptonshire-based health and beauty company, EllaPure, has just announced that it has signed a deal to take its direct selling and sales business into the Indian market.
This deal signifies the first official global expansion outside of Europe for the company, which only began trading in the first part of 2010 but has already attracted over 200 direct sellers across the UK.
The strategic move into the Indian market follows several months of negotiations but will see EllaPure retain full control of the company under the leadership of several Reigonal Managers.
CEO & Founder of EllaPure, Simon Burke said: "I am delighted we can make this announcement and am very excited by the vast opportunities presenting themselves to us. Since EllaPure started last year we have driven the company with great force and achieved greater than anticipated results. Our evolution into Southeast Asia is the next big step for us, but there are many more to follow."
Several states have been specifically targeted with the companies Indian Head Office being based in Kolkata, West Bengal.
Burke adds: "This is such a great opportunity for the company, to be in a position to launch into such a rapidly developing country just over a year into business is no mean feat, we are all very much looking forward to working with our new team in India"
In June 2011, EllaPure launched in Germany and already has a strong foundation on which it is building and has reported positive trading in the first two months.
EllaPure's direct selling business softly launched in April 2010 and has already attracted over 250 direct sellers in the UK.
EllaPure's range of organic, natural and pure products use only 100% fresh ingredients and are formulated without using Parabens and do not include any trace of SLS (Sodium Lauryl Sulfate) or SLES (Sodium Laureth Ether Sulfate) - cheap, powerful chemical detergents commonly found in many high street cosmetics AND cleaning products, which have been scientifically linked to causing skin irritation.
The company recently launched its new Spring/Summer Liven Up range in the UK. More details can be found here.
