DSA UK Announced as Speaker at Retail Week Live 2020
12th March 2020
Director General, Susannah Schofield OBE, will be one of the speakers at Retail Week Live 2020.
The UK industry body for direct to consumer (DTC) retail, The Direct Selling Association, today announced that its Director General, Susannah Schofield OBE, will be one of the speakers at Retail Week Live 2020.
The annual retail event, thought to be the single largest gathering of retail leaders in the UK, takes place this year on 25th & 26th March at The Intercontinental O2, London.
As well as participating in a panel discussion on the topic of ‘How to target engagement through personalisation’, Susannah Schofield will also host discussion sessions at the event on the topic of ‘Direct to Consumer’ alongside DSA Board member and Vice President and General Manager Arbonne UK, Vicky Beckett.
Hannah Tovey, Programme Director at Retail Week Live, comments: “We are really excited to have Susannah with us. How consumer trends are driving DTC, and how retailers can capitalise on them, is a key theme for us at the event and Susannah’s insight will be invaluable.”
Susannah Schofield OBE, Director General of the Direct Selling Association, adds: “I am delighted to be able to share the current developments within the channel with such a wide and relevant audience, particularly at a time when DTC retail is attracting increasing attention across the retail sector, and several major brands are seeing strong growth being delivered by DTC channels.”
In January this year, the Direct Selling Association announced that it expected 2020 to be a year of ‘double digit’ growth for the channel, and in a survey of its member CEOs, 90% stated that they felt 2020 will be a year of ‘significant growth’ for DTC.
